Total Investment: Over 10,400 billion VND (or 9,315 billion VND depending on the source).

Capacity: 440 MW (consisting of 2 units, 220 MW each).

Technology: Utilizes Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boiler technology. This allows for the combustion of low-quality anthracite dust from the Dong Trieu – Uong Bi region and is more environmentally friendly than traditional pulverized coal technology.

Fuel: Anthracite dust type 6B.4.

Progress: Construction was completed on schedule; Unit 1 began operation in late 2012, with final plant acceptance in early 2013.
